Profile

Nicole joined Chambers in 2021 following the completion of her pupillage with Mr Jonathan Ah-weng, Mr Robin D’Souza, Mr Jeffrey Chau, and Mr Kalvin Chan.

Nicole is building a broad practice, with experience in arbitration, commercial, companies and shareholder disputes, injunctive relief, insolvency, trusts, land, professional negligence, probate, personal injuries, departmental summonses, and white-collar crime.

She is capable of providing written submissions and conducting hearings in both English and Chinese, and accepts instructions in all areas of work.

  • 东莞市洪润服饰有限公司 (a company incorporated in Mainland China) v Gorgeous Textile Co., Limited (盈滔針織有限公司), Wong Wai Ling, Joan, and Wong Lap HCA 1812 / 2021: application for Mareva injunctions and disclosure orders (led by Mr Jeffrey Chau) and application for post-judgment injunctions and further disclosure orders (as sole counsel)

Arbitration

  • HKIAC: appeared for the claimant in a 13-day trial involving a building and construction dispute (led by Mr Peter Clayton SC and with Ms Astina Au)

White-Collar Crime

  • 香港特別行政區 方佩玲及另二人 [2022] HKDC 389: acted for D1 who was charged with 3 counts of money laundering (led by Mr Jonathan Ah-weng)
