On 27 April 2023, Frederick Chan was invited to attend and speak on the Hong Kong legal system at the Hong Kong-Macau Lawyers and Greater Bay Area Outstanding Case Study Discussion Forum (港澳律師座談會暨大灣區優秀案例實操研討會), organised by Shenzhen Lawyers Association (Greater Bay Area Committee) (深圳律師協會(粵港澳大灣區工作委員會)) and held at Yingke Law Firm (Shenzhen) (盈科（深圳）律師事務所).
The Forum aimed to strengthen the understanding of lawyers in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau on others’ systems and commonly-encountered practical issues, with a view to facilitating synergy for cases involving both Mainland and Hong Kong/Macau matters.
Frederick is an experienced counsel and arbitrator with a focus on commercial litigation and arbitration with a cross-border element / relating to Mainland China. He can conduct cases in English, Cantonese and Putonghua. He passed the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Examination in 2021 and currently chairs the Mainland Affairs Committee of Parkside Chambers.
