Anthony W L Chow

Anthony first read Civil Engineering in the University of Hong Kong. He furthered his studies in the field in France, under a French Government Scholarship at Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics de L’Etat and was awarded a Diplôme d’ingénieur in Bridge Engineering. After a decorated career of over 12 years in the field of construction with both engineering consultant and building contractors, where he became a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer, he turned to pursue a career in the law. He was called to the English Bar in 1997 and to the Hong Kong Bar in 1998. He has since become an accredited mediator. He also sits as an arbitrator and mediates in construction related, general commercial and building management matters.

Anthony has a highly specialized and developed practice in construction and engineering related disputes, both in arbitration and litigation. He has acted for a wide range of parties in the industry, including the government, developers, architects and engineers, main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers. On many occasions, he has also worked with Incorporated Owners procuring general renovation and upgrading work in their estates. Anthony also has a developed practice in land, landlord and tenant, building management and general contractual matters.
